By the way, when did they become a couple... cause they're not exactly acting together or separate... it's like one day they just "became" together ...
JasperWB 15th Oct 2011, 2:20 AM edit delete reply
JasperWB
Yeah. I thought it just kinda "happened" too. And they're such a sweet couple.

Makes the grumpy me sick.

This is how it happens, a lot of the time. Did you think there would be a big rigamarole?
Iamari 15th Oct 2011, 4:06 AM edit delete reply
Haven't heard that word in a while.
JasperWB 15th Oct 2011, 4:47 AM edit delete reply
JasperWB
It should be used more often. Much like the word cattywampus should. And the word comical rather than funny.
Nurrah 15th Oct 2011, 1:15 PM edit delete reply

It happens that way often. Jim's been giving her grins and smirks that are very obvious (IMO) of his intent.

There are only two reasons a girl puts her hands in a guy's hair (in a friendly or more manner) 1. He has gorgeous hair and/or 2. She likes him.

I watch a ton of anime... and being totally socially inept myself, I have no personal experience with which to compare jim and Mary's relationship. So in a word, yes! I was expecting a big rigamarole ...

"Hullabaloo?..."

(someone best get THAT reference)
jst56strong 15th Oct 2011, 6:10 PM edit delete reply
WOOOOOT MTG!!!
Iamari 16th Oct 2011, 3:53 AM edit delete reply
I would never raise a Hullabaloo. However, I to encourage meandering.

+1 for MTG... I was in the draft, pulled a Snapcaster Mage in my very first pack...!!! For those of you not knowing , that card is worth almost $40!

Aren't you the guy who can't identify the main female lead?

Apparently, you've been studying since then!
Archduke 15th Oct 2011, 7:03 PM edit delete reply
that was kind of spiteful, view. You should be ashamed. Ashamed!

I'm sorry, tteclod! Come back!
tteclod 16th Oct 2011, 7:10 PM edit delete reply
Never left. Been reading since day one.

I think I know why I can't identify the lead. She's more expressive than the others. Inasmuch as you're still not perfect, neither is she.

Miwa et al aren't as expressive, therefore aren't as hard to identify. You might say Mary's more than one person, so to speak. Miwa has some of that also, but she seems more dual than multiple. Good Miwa / bad Miwa. Mary is working Mary, anxious Mary, silly Mary, angry Mary, et cetera.

Good work. Will keep reading and mercilessly critiqueing.

Yeah, I can see that, but I think it's more likely because the other main characters have extremely obvious traits. Miwa is dark, Jim has a big nose and scissor-hair...

Speaking of hair pulling,

Kinky.

I absolutely love Mary in the second panel. She just looks so pretty in it. <3 Also it's nice to see their playful banter getting somewhere. Jim is probably loving the breast cushion right now too.

Your eloquence is so sesquipedal, it's tangentially sinister.

Frau Schrödinger to her husband, “Erwin Rudolf Josef Alexander Schrödinger! What did you do to Herr Fussy Puss? He looks half dead!”

But seriously... panel three says it all! Love has been established, Houston. There will be lift-off.
