Ahhhh, it's not freezing cold.

She may not look it, but she's the town's brewer. She's more about wine, less about beer, but there are others that do beer.

Ahh, I was unclear. I mean Esteban's wife.

I hope they still have White Lightning in the future, legal or not.

Ba dum tish heh. I guess as long as the next morning she'd take her clothes off, I wouldn't mind her being right.

I've been meaning to ask ever since you talked about family likeness in robots, how does that work? i mean, how can a robot inherit personality traits from the parents?

i imagine physical traits are designed, but personality isn't so simple.

Actually, the "starter" personality loaded into the infant robot can be tweaked to be almost anything. A qualified roboticist will synthesize a personality based on many factors, including the personality of the parents, the likely social setting, the parent's stated preferences, and, in this town's case, cultural standards.

The starter personality is a major influence on the robot's eventual personality, but not as all-powerful as you might think. For example, Hans and Gretel weren't programmed with a breast obsession.

so there's a 'default' personality that is being tweaked into every robot there is? or maybe several 'defaults'?

i'm not sure why, but the concept of someone tweaking personalities is making me uncomfortable..

The basic AI framework can have some of the weights tweaked - such as how much of their computation they spend on sensory inputs as opposed to simulating the social ramifications of the situation. You can also weight what kinds of information they are likely to consider most authoritative.

Pretty well guaranteed.

Alcohol's one thing that rarely changes; even now you have plenty of microbreweries popping up all over the place. Micro-wineries too, even in areas that haven't traditionally been good areas to cultivate grapes.

Also, sorry Gretel, but Jim simply hasn't had enough experience with breasts in order to properly emulate them. You should have just asked him to just pop some oppai balls on the front.

She doesn't use proper grapes - they have a little pseudo-grape vine that grows in the shared lot near the park. It grows about ten times as many grapes per square meter than normal vines, but she swears it has good characteristics.

How scandalous! And I'm sure she even uses those newfangled stainless steel wine barrels and synthetic rubber corks instead of proper oak and cork!

Does she distill as well? Produced any good fine brandies, maybe?

Hee hee. Page 136: Gretel yells at folks for grabbing her boobs. Page 137: Gretel grabs Mary's boobs.

For some reason I find this really funny. :)

This party is all about the breast grabbing.
