Having a tough time with art this week...

Speaking of art, the last week of this month is an art week. If you want to submit fan art, I'll show it on that week. I'll also show some art of my own, so look forward to it.

Normally I wouldn't mind, but I wanted to get together a few pieces of fanart for my week off, and it looks like it's going to be pretty scanty.

How do the high tech shoes work, anyway?

The toes of the shoes are a series of D-shaped ceramic hoops that are connected by a very short but strong series of wires.

So it's still light and flexible, like a normal shoe. It's only possible because ceramics have advanced to the point where a D-shaped hoop is strong enough to survive an elephant stepping on it.
