This page took a long time! Architecture and landscaping are weak points for me, and my knowledge of light is also limited, so this took a long time and ended up a bit muddy.

"Mary", or as she hates being called, "Marina", is the short-haired girl from earlier. She lives alone in that three story glass box.

The glass walls can all be turned opaque or transparent as she prefers, moment-to-moment. Since she lives 5 km from her nearest neighbor and rarely gets any visitors, she just leaves them transparent all the time. Which has kind of made her house a huge beacon of light in these scenes.

The reason the lower-left walls are opaque (at least from the outside) is not for privacy, but so she can watch TV on them - hence the picture of the person talking.

There is a light under the dock.

All in all, it's hard for me to tell if these panels are easy to understand or too difficult.

You're doing it again.. I now officially cannot wait for the next page to come out.
Only one issue I have: I can't get this site to send me an email when you've posted a new page. Any ideas?

Oh yeah, one more thing. Right now I'm re-reading the Lord of The Rings, again (for the fiftieth time).
I'm actually enjoying your comics more.
Thanks, view

You craaazy, man.

As far as I can tell, this site has shit-all for features. It won't even email ME when people post comments or follow or anything. It just does rock-solid basics and no ads, which was all I was looking for. But I miss my features!

If you want an update when this thing posts, you'll need to use something like http://www.feedmyinbox.com/ or http://www.feedmailer.net/

... But it might be time to bite the bullet and actually start using an RSS reader like Google Reader. There's a lot of cool shit out there that comes via RSS!

The wall TV would be more apparent if it had a sound balloon... "Man bumps head on Ricket Rail; film at 11!"

That's a good point. I was thinking in terms of animation in my head, and I didn't want any ambient sounds. But in a comic, I guess that isn't important, and I could have added a bubble for clarity. Maybe I'll go back and do that.

The hard part is that those opaque panels look like wood. but I couldn't have done any better. I like the house. it kind of says something about the character who lives there.

Well, I started using Google Reader on my phone, I guess it's better than email...(?)
I really wish they would make an android app, that way you could view all kinds of comics there!
or sync with an android comic reader, like ACV...
oh well

Yes, I'm crazy, sooo crazy, that I watched the entire LOTR extended edition trilogy straight through... (yes, it took about 12 hours, no, I still don't like the plot changes inserted by peter jackson.)

It's good for you to draw all this new stuff, you're getting better at it. But in the fourth panel is that a tree or a cliff or a mountain in the foreground?

Jasper: It's, um, foliage? I was kind of hoping that just being "shadowy mass" would make it feel darker. :P

I like your art and pacing a lot. Very human, but kind of surreal at the same time. Very intriguing.
