In this case, the shirt has support built in, because otherwise her bra would get soaked and take forever to dry. This is easy, because everyone's shirts are autotailored for them specifically.

Unexpected encounters indeed! (Also, I admire your preemptive and detailed fashion information. Lots of cultural background info there.)

Wow, just gotta say, loving the comic so far. Been following it religiously for months.

Wait just a minute. You said you weren't going to draw them naked again this chapter. Either you're a liar or a tease! Which will it be?

Not to knock the page. I very much like this page.

Bet she reluctantly diverts the situation somehow... You know, I recall those naked remarks too, but I went back to all the Comments for the 'Dream' pages and not a trace! I think that either the Octopi are plotting or Miwa is jealous...

I'm pretty sure View is a master of ironic misdirection. That's how I took that response anyway.

...pretty sure View is a master of ironic...

...pretty sure View is a master...

...sure View...a master...

The last time I used my viewmaster I accidentally destroyed the disc I had in it. It was my favorite Winnie the Pooh disc and I was crushed. Thanks for bringing that memory back...

That man strikes a very impressive balance of incredible intelligent and remarkably smooth.

He may look like a dweeb, but for a chunk of his life he was basically a geek rockstar.

You know, I'm pretty sure he staged this. Given how fuckhuge the place they live is, and how he most certainly knows where she works.

Well, sorta. He ended up walking towards Mary's house, but then realized it was about 1 AM and stopped a kilometer short.

This page is great, really love the expressions. I can hardly find anything worth criticising.

Heh. Heh. Heh! I think I got something that wasn't intended but nonetheless makes me laugh with odd glee!

Something you can share without scandalizing the Octopi?
JasperWB 31st Jan 2012, 7:40 AM edit delete reply
Naah I don't think anyone got it. Explaining it would ruin it.

0_o. . . . "Wait! Wait! Not in front of the octopi!"
cattservant 31st Jan 2012, 2:24 AM edit delete reply
I wonder if you can shock an octopus? As long as they stay 15-20 feet away from the water, it should be safe. But wait... can an octopus throw rocks?

Do you honestly think she slept from "too early to go to dinner" through to "8:30"?
ReadingvIn 2015 27th Oct 2015, 4:33 PM edit delete reply
Yes, View, I did.

I didn't know how she got into bed, but moving from collapsed in the beanbag into dream sequences and back out, I assumed it was her waking immediately from the dream. And the 8:30 time on the clock was not nearly enough to make me think about when she first collapsed, and not evidence that other waking time must have passed. 15 or 16 hours of sleep is far from impossible or super super common; it happens. (How she moved from the beanbag to the bed seems absolutely trivial, and not seeing it happen could easily be explained by her just not remembering. Waking enough to move, or not waking and being moved by some computery robotty thingy of the house, but in neither case waking enough to be cognizant of it or remember it.)

I just realized how truly sexy she is in this moment. The whet-suit, the hat, the disposition I'm sure she has to make all kinds of...encouraging noises in the midst of passion. If she backs out, she could mortally wound Jim!
