This chapter should have been called "tits".

A "starter kit" is basically mostly nonfunctional genitalia. They serve as kind of sexual training wheels.

Please note that even if a robot has no physical genitalia, they are still a sexual being, because they are based on human minds.

Uh. Huh. Ok then. And uh, duly noted.
JasperWB 8th Feb 2012, 1:42 AM edit delete reply
And this was directed at the note, not the page. I'm loving the page. I see it was kinda vague and probably failed at its point..again

It would be interesting if there was a sex scene between these two.
Not simply because of fanservice, but I think it would be an interesting form of characterization.
I've seen plenty of stories where androids are used for sex, but not many where they are also sexually aware.

I would agree here but I'd imagine Gretel would probably have to be a bit older. It's one of many sequel stories for this universe that would be interesting to see if view ever felt like it. This would be a short one too so..

So, a Starter Kit is what? Fleshlight in this case or just an external proxy with no depth?
view 7th Feb 2012, 11:47 PM edit delete reply
It's just an external proxy. She can upgrade later when she feels comfortable.

Huh, did you change the last comic View? I don't recall Miwa's new bikini pants being quite that shade of sheer.
view 8th Feb 2012, 12:35 AM edit delete reply
Yeah, I was trying to go for a "glowy" look, but it didn't work out.
Meddy 23rd Mar 2012, 5:35 AM edit delete reply
I think the problem is that they look a bit too much like a tan line, especially when Miwa is seen from the back.
Sebine 8th Feb 2012, 1:02 AM edit delete reply
Miwa is a beautiful woman
Embarrassed Gretel is amusing.
Prestidigititis 8th Feb 2012, 2:36 AM edit delete reply
Miwa's walking a fine line between praise, patronizing, and ego toward the end there. I kinda want to punch her face.
Karetron 8th Feb 2012, 3:21 AM edit delete reply
Really? I thought it was high on the ego, but also very sweet in a way. Although... should we call it ego when she is merely accepting facts? Miwa is a beautiful woman, after all.
Seafog 8th Feb 2012, 3:39 AM edit delete reply
Hmm, I kind of read it as a 'confidence boost/you can be nothing but awesome' type comment for a very young (and recently guilt ridden) teen girl.
But on reflection, this is Miwa, so there is probably a fair bit of ego bleeding in there too. Though I figured Miwa's large ego was based on her mind, not her body.
view 8th Feb 2012, 4:12 AM edit delete reply
Yes, but Miwa thinks Miwa looks fantastic, in addition to Miwa thinking Miwa is a genius of the highest order..
RandomTroll 8th Feb 2012, 5:05 AM edit delete reply
Miwa needs a spanking, you know? For attitude correction, and fan service.
JasperWB 8th Feb 2012, 6:14 AM edit delete reply
Hmm. Would she submit or dominate? For Jim probably either but in general...I could imagine both.
Meh.Aloe 8th Feb 2012, 5:57 PM edit delete reply
To be fair to Miwa, Miwa does seem to be right on both counts. :P
cattservant 8th Feb 2012, 6:09 PM edit delete reply
Pleased with all aspects of herself indeed...
Iamari 8th Feb 2012, 4:58 AM edit delete reply
Wow, in a way I thought that might of been because Gretel was embarrassed. But you took it to an extreme I never would've thought of.

I never would've thought about giving a robot a Starter Kit. I would've just given them the full edition.
CyberSkull 8th Feb 2012, 6:20 AM edit delete reply
The Starter Kit makes great sense.

This, I find absolutely hilarious.

Love this comic, never seen anything like it.

I need to remember that line. It perfectly encapsulates the idiocy of shyness in a way that uplifts and liberates.
