Not much of a page, really. I think maybe I went too far towards the "simple lineart" when I wanted to get away from the "thin lineart" that I had for a while.

Here are three user icons. If you want one, lemme know. They are (should be?) the right size to use here. Feel free to resize them for use elsewhere. Obviously, only use these if you're the guys in question.

Cheers. I can't really think of anything great right now, but if I do I'll inform you in a civilized and restrained manner. Something along the lines of:

Well, you'll need to be a bit more specific than that, I think.

Its not overly simple but I see what you're getting at. Especially when viewed on a large screen, which I now have.

And thanks for the avatar! I like it. Like someone threw the bartender robot down a flight of stairs and all they gave him was uncut sheet metal and he had to fix it himself while suffering PEC. That could be my life in a nutshell...if I were a robot.

Well, you didn't ask for laser beams, so it's kinda low-action.
JasperWB 23rd Feb 2012, 11:45 PM edit delete reply
JasperWB
I had my laser beams removed last year so going without was far more accurate. Carol maintains me too, if you see what I'm saying. Huh? HUH? See what I'm driving at??

Repairs.

To my loins with her loins.

And I meant the page itself when I was speaking about what was simple.

"... wasn't expecting that..." Don't think Mistress Mary was either! Hansel is isolating his prior persona. Is he coping or is it a symptom? At least he has a good role model to emulate!
Sheela 24th Feb 2012, 3:15 PM edit delete reply
Sheela
I trhink it is a way to cope with something as enormous as what happened to Hans.

That said, it looks to me like he will grow up awfully fast .. even faster than before, because his friends are now mature ... well, "more mature" than before. :D

I hope Hans grows up to be a fine example of a fictional pixilated male robot, written by a carbon based life form, on an archaic computational machine and published on a virtualized information server on a conceptual network. :)

I came from Cheer about 3 hours ago and started on this series. I absolutely love your style of romanticism that leads up to an intimate sexual scene or two. Mind the Gap has captured me, and although I won't be subscribing, I will absolutely be checking in on this page every day for a new comic.

You are awesome.

Good Morning view! (JasperWB I'd appreciate your input too, if you would care to do so.) Some question about Ricket-Rail that I'm almost sure you don't have time to answer: 1. Is the system centrally controlled or is each unit a separate AI? 2. Are the wheels on rigid axles, or are they caster mounted? With the low floors of the cars and the very tight curves on some of the line, it would make casters a better design feature. 3. Are all the wheels powered, or just in the motor compartment? 4. Are the cars always open, or do they have weather protection as necessary? 5. Is there a central storage/repair depot? 6. What are the four types of units? Are they different colors? 7. What is the purpose of the spur line down into the wetlands?

JasperWB 24th Feb 2012, 8:37 PM edit delete reply
JasperWB
Oh. Well then all I have to say is this setting needs a train like the Train of Tomorrow. Screw the ricket rail!

Indeed! I keep thinking about the abandoned train at the old depot. (page #004) I wonder how Carol traveled to Boulder?
