It's a very shade-heavy page...

ravenor78 7th Mar 2012, 11:49 PM edit delete reply
or just try and make the mask.

Going in to the future is very simple, it's getting back to the past that's tough
cattservant 7th Mar 2012, 11:16 PM edit delete reply
Well met by moonlight!

RE: shade-heavy; The shadow knows!

Jim is looking very pleased with himself...

I see that Kiki gave him a towel.

Wow! Mary went from defense to allure in just four panels!

Last panel; and very soon to be a smile.
ravenor78 7th Mar 2012, 11:40 PM edit delete reply
and then; behold my almighty breasts
O o

It's hard to respond to you, Cattservant, because your posts keep mutating for like an hour after you make them. But I gather you like the page, so that's good.

The towel is from the floor inside, and notice that the clothes are no longer on the pier...
cattservant 7th Mar 2012, 11:49 PM edit delete reply
Oh Snap! The secret is out. I am a mutant geezer!* Jim is a very neat fellow who sets his scenes very carefully... (plus, she's not going to be able to put them back on this time!)

*Also a semi-perfectionist.
cattservant 7th Mar 2012, 11:46 PM edit delete reply
@ravenor78: Yes indeed! view is just amazing. Mary barely moves her hands in the last four panels, yet her thoughts and emotional state are very clearly expressed!
ravenor78 7th Mar 2012, 11:57 PM edit delete reply
I had hoped that it wasn't just my perverted mind, and view is right! Your posts change so quickly, i never noticed before. Also do you have a tab on this page at all times?
cattservant 8th Mar 2012, 12:01 AM edit delete reply
No. Sometimes I tie a game camera to a tree while I'm out serving my Cats.
JasperWB 7th Mar 2012, 11:57 PM edit delete reply
This page is great and makes me happy. Danke view

Huh, this comment was invisible for a few hours, I think. Anyway, thanks.

Naw that's just me. My advanced state of unremarkableness has extended to the digital plane.

All I ever wanted was to be loved too..

just read through all the pages and is it just me or does the girl from ch 2 look like the blonde from the last comic forview did?
P.S. love both of them so far
view 8th Mar 2012, 2:42 AM edit delete reply
The worlds are unrelated, so it's coincidence.
cattservant 8th Mar 2012, 3:08 AM edit delete reply
Connections, if any there be, to be found just outside the fifth wall. A hundred dozen ideas before each line laid down for all to see...
Brex 8th Mar 2012, 4:08 AM edit delete reply
Oh god. The first panel with there is just so damn funny. Jim looking all pleased with himself.
view 8th Mar 2012, 4:15 AM edit delete reply
I stretched the art a little to make him look more pleased and excited.
Iamari 8th Mar 2012, 5:15 AM edit delete reply
In the last panel, is Mary offering her breasts to Jim for some Motorboat action?
edubs 8th Mar 2012, 7:08 AM edit delete reply
methinks she's looking for her clothes?
Jacob 8th Mar 2012, 5:38 AM edit delete reply
I'm not quite sure how I found this, just happened to come across it, but after the second page I fell in love with it. I just wanted to let you know you're making an awesome comic, and I can't wait to read more.
view 8th Mar 2012, 12:52 PM edit delete reply
Well, it comes out 6 days a week, so you won't have to wait too much, I hope!
Marblekick 8th Mar 2012, 11:10 AM edit delete reply
So I'm a new reader. I've been meaning to read it since you finished Cheer, but never got around to it due to <b>so many webcomics.</b> But If there's one thing I have to say, is that this is a really great comic. You've created a really solid world, with a diverse cast of characters, and that is just really fantastic.

I look forward to whatever comes next, and any future endeavours you work on.

view is a master of portraying body language.* The confirmation is found in panels #5, 6, 7, 8 and 9.**

*(That's my opinion, and I'm sticking to it!)
**(Mary goes from total shock flight response to rising opening-stance display with incipient grin in a smooth, seamless and totally convincing manner. A fine example of the sequential arts!)

The "mastery" is being so damn vague that everyone just assigns whatever emotions they want to the pictures.
cattservant 8th Mar 2012, 9:16 PM edit delete reply
You can call yourself Rorschach if you want, but you are still very smooth. Also Mary is a naiad!
ravenor78 8th Mar 2012, 10:03 PM edit delete reply
Sorry view, was my depiction of emotions and thoughts not what you had wanted us to think? Could you please tell us what your thoughts were in marys place?
cattservant 8th Mar 2012, 10:30 PM edit delete reply
@ravenor78: Good Afternoon!; view is often like the elephant that the blind men went to see. What you bring back often depends on what you grabbed onto... (and where!)
view 8th Mar 2012, 10:46 PM edit delete reply
No, everyone's pretty much right. It's just a matter of nuance.
cattservant 8th Mar 2012, 10:52 PM edit delete reply
Ah, Nuance... The not so distant cousin of Romance.
ravenor78 8th Mar 2012, 11:50 PM edit delete reply
@cattservant Good evening to you from where i am. You like your little stories don't you? Well i don't know what part i grabbed onto, it's rather hard to tell from someone as elusive to questions as view, hell i don't even know views gender!
cattservant 9th Mar 2012, 12:03 AM edit delete reply
@ravenor78: A central secret; You have come upon one of the main questions of this entire enterprise. No one knows! (Or if they do, they aren't saying.) There has been considerable discussion amongst the Commenteers, but not even a consensus has been achieved.

Some time later: You know this lack of information might well be the gap we are supposed to never mind.
ravenor78 9th Mar 2012, 12:08 AM edit delete reply
@cattservant Indeed the secret is well guarded, but didn't most of us come to see view as a robot in past comments? Speaking of secrets, i'd like to know how you make bold letters whenever you do @<insertname>.
cattservant 9th Mar 2012, 12:14 AM edit delete reply
I'd be delighted to pass that info on. duLapel was kind enough to give me the link some time ago.
ravenor78 9th Mar 2012, 12:18 AM edit delete reply
Many thanks cattservant.

Love this page.
Archduke 8th Mar 2012, 10:31 PM edit delete reply
So many emotions! I think it's time for Jim to impose Phallic Order.

Judging by the creepiness of Panel 1 (I mean just imagine it out of context...) he knows what he has to do.
cattservant 8th Mar 2012, 10:34 PM edit delete reply
And he knows just how to do it! Did you notice that he took her clothes when he went back to the house to get her a towel? Very sly...

RE: panel 1; And it's a full moon night in Nowheresville Texas too!
Meddy 23rd Mar 2012, 8:00 PM edit delete reply
It's a little paradoxical that she hides her breasts like this but lets the water go below crotch level...

But it goes well with her personality and the lack of time to think.

This page is a poster-study in facial experessions! :D
