Hello there. Found you comic a bit ago and did a bit of an archive binge. Looking forward to where this page leads. I'm in it for the robots more than the romance (though I'm still rooting for Gretchen and blonde kid, Robot Romance FTW!) Anyhow, I really enjoy the world you have crafted here (so hard to find a story with good AI characters). So even if the main characters aren't really the ones I'm interested in, i'll still be watching.
...Awkward silence...
...So, have a good'un i guess. Until next time...

Aww, you don't like the boring main characters?

*looks at sarcasm detector, frowns, raps it on the table a couple times... frowns some more*
... I'm not sure how I'm supposed to respond to that...

No need to respond, I'm just prattling.

Lies and slander !

What you're really doing is fishing for a gratuitus comment regarding your fictional main characters !

Well ... you're in luck then ... I like them. :)

I see what you did. And I'm telling.

Effective use of technique is not a cheat any more than shooting a swordsman with a revolver.

That said, the window behind Mary looks wrong.
cattservant 16th Apr 2012, 11:54 PM edit delete reply
A Cat's a cat no mater how you build them! Panel 3; 100% kinetic feline happiness in motion.
I wonder how she gets along with the town cats?

It stopped for a week for holiday, and it's been running 6 days a week otherwise.

Also stopped when the Anti-Christ itself was revealed then defeated in epic battle by obscene sums of your own money I imagine. What adventures a webcomic can take you on!
Sheela 17th Apr 2012, 9:54 PM edit delete reply
Wait ..waaait a minute ... that was Anti-Christ ?

Damn, I shouldn't have eaten his dog then!

Is it my eyes or can I see thru that girl's dress?
CyberSkull 17th Apr 2012, 2:13 AM edit delete reply
Then we both have that delightful visual anomaly.
view 17th Apr 2012, 2:19 AM edit delete reply
Well, it is your eyes, by definition...
ravenor78 17th Apr 2012, 5:39 AM edit delete reply
...wait! I'm starting to see through it as well.
cattservant 17th Apr 2012, 6:31 AM edit delete reply
@ moizmad: She's too proud of her new skin to wear a dress over it!*

*(Pages #269 and 270)

Edit: Oh, you mean Mary! (After a nights sleep my eyes are working a bit better.)

Never Mind!

Cute job with the dress!

What are you guys talking about?
cattservant 17th Apr 2012, 10:24 PM edit delete reply
For some reason, the farther up the screen you scroll panel 5 the more visible Mary's swim suit becomes.
view 17th Apr 2012, 10:27 PM edit delete reply
Most monitors show color and brightness variation differently depending on angle. The angle is different depending on whether you're looking at the bottom or top of the screen.

My screen's the same way. Changing the angle of view changes how well I can see brightness variations.
cattservant 17th Apr 2012, 10:38 PM edit delete reply
Oh, I thought is was view-magic technique!
JasperWB 17th Apr 2012, 10:45 PM edit delete reply
It's why I use my phone to view your work. Also mobility, but things stay pretty consistent with your style without the tilt issue. Some things you mark as problems even, I really can't see.
CyberSkull 25th Apr 2012, 10:11 AM edit delete reply
That happens with all LCD displays. It doesn't happen with CRT, OLED (I think) and Plasma (probably).

Future Readers, here's a service: if you are looking at this on a small screen, then it is worth zooming on the final panel to see what people are talking about. Mary's swimsuit is faintly visible through the dress. It is a marvelously subtle drawing. I did not notice at all until I zoomed in, because I am looking at it on a phone. Not even a big phone. But it was instantly clear when I zoomed in. Perhaps the same low level of contrast is what accounts for the angle of view (little v) phenomena discussed, as well.
