See I knew it was going to go down! I have that bad feeling. Miwa especially, she let her appearence get somewhat disheveled.

By the way, Mary has just the loveliest face no matter what emotions its expressing.
iamjagman 27th Apr 2012, 9:29 PM edit delete reply
I agree with Mary's face always looking 'lovely'. At first, for some reason it seemed a little to tomboyish, but now I've really began to love it.

Mission accomplished!

I recently discovered a weightlifter, Samantha Wright, and she always reminds me of Mary. Both with their lovely blonde short hair and cute faces. sorry if the link is just copy/paste.

Oh and view, you're doing a super duper job so far. I really like your comic.

That lady is very pretty! ...There is a much more famous Samantha Wright who doesn't look anything like that.

Hope you don't refer to the murder victim, Miss Wright from Edinburgh?
Joe 30th Apr 2012, 12:49 PM edit delete reply
She is indeed good-looking

And funny too:

Just working too hard to come up with clever comments. BACK TO WORK!

Pssh don't let attempts at quality stop you. Just do what I do, post the first thing that comes to mind, no matter what, then apologize when you are being ran out of town on a rail!

At least take a little time to demagnetize your telekinetic carpals first...

Miwa is so much taller than Mary
view 27th Apr 2012, 10:28 PM edit delete reply
Miwa is the same height as Jim, which is around 5'10". Mary is less than 5' tall.
JasperWB 27th Apr 2012, 10:41 PM edit delete reply
I'd fear a determined Mary more though.
pancake 27th Apr 2012, 10:54 PM edit delete reply
really? to me Miwa seems like sort of person i wouldn't want as an enemy.
JasperWB 27th Apr 2012, 11:16 PM edit delete reply
Brainy enemies require you to have something to lose, for you to care, the ability to manipulate you, convince those around you of things, etc. In other words, you have to be kinda normal and be able to be moved to a non-normal state of existence or an uncomfortable one. If you do have secrets or a carefully crafted existence or don't handle social anxiety well, then yes, I would fear Miwa like the devil himself.

I'd take a Miwa enemy because I personally can handle all of that due to two almost opposite qualities I possess: being extremely stubborn, and almost overtly honest and unsecretive. I wind up with nowhere to fall. It's a blessing and a curse I suppose. When it backfires, it really makes your enemy look like just the ass they are though.

Mary can run hot in The Moment, but she's never cold blooded!

Oh right, this page is a 'Saturday Cliffhanger' too!

Panel 3 you will be a bloody pulp.
panel 4 I am jedi.
the slow pullin is nicely handled, I really like how you did everything in the fourth panel.

Remember, view almost always comes in on an unanticipated vector.
ReinderDijkhuis 28th Apr 2012, 8:29 AM edit delete reply
Miwa also thinks ahead. "If I lay a hand on Mary, the probability of ever getting anywhere with Jim drops to 0%".

So my bet is on no fight.
cattservant 28th Apr 2012, 11:53 AM edit delete reply
You are almost certainly right. Nothing physical that is... But there is a lot of back story 'dirty laundry' that may get run out on the line. Also, Nowheresville, Texas is a very small pond and any serious 'splashing' about and wave making is going to get immediate attention and intervention.
pancake 28th Apr 2012, 9:20 AM edit delete reply
wait, is Miwa making a fist in panel 3 with her thumb inside? that'll break her hand! i thought she was smart
view 28th Apr 2012, 12:57 PM edit delete reply
That's her natural arm...
cattservant 28th Apr 2012, 5:16 PM edit delete reply
What about her left leg? That is a very substantial kick (Page #110 panel 3) without any apparent reaction from Miwa.
pancake 28th Apr 2012, 6:22 PM edit delete reply
oh, right. forgot about that part. still, it can't be very good for the hand, it's the perfect leverage to break the thumb.

$20 on the next page being called storm.

Oh man! ;~; I hope there isn't a brawl, but Miwa really is in a bad state...

Hey. Heeeey

It's quiet round here..

Everyone's resting up for the big event later this afternoon. SRO!
JasperWB 29th Apr 2012, 8:18 PM edit delete reply
B-but big event would be bad for all! Mary needs to be peaceful yet forceful. Either way the suspense is killing me!

You know, I have this weird problem at times where I get so excited about things happening I almost just don't want them to happen because I don't want to deal with the strain of the excitement. This is not entirely one of those times but I kinda feel it.

I don't understand myself. I need a user manual for my brain.
