Welcome if you're new. Or old, whatever.

Just a little more of Miwa's flashback, and we're done. I think you'll find it very educational.

Miwa's actually a year or two older than Lisa.

Love the face in the last panel. I also agree with her statement.

I would have posted earlier myself (as if I were late) but I was cutting tree branches. Of course one fell on me and that brought me in to wrap my arm up. Funny how things work, a three inch cut lead me to see things just updated here...and that I need to get more band-aids.

Off topic, I know, but I was bleeding. With blood. And no one was around to pity me. Let me retry my comment:

I like the detail of her hair growing back in her reflection. Those smart, not entirely easy to find little details always seem to be the best

Panel 2; "Lemonade" is special in The Future.
Panel 7.25; A distant 2nd choice!

I think "Lemonade" is code for Lisa's mother having the same inclinations as her daughter. But maybe I just have dirty mind.

So Hey! I just read through your entire comic in a couple of days; looked through the majority of the comments (as I didn't want to miss the often very informative and impressive authorial notes) and just wanted to commend you, view, on the amazing work you've done here.

The development of the plot, the unfolding of the little details and, jeez, just the whole world you've made, all piles up into something I was very glad to read.

It's actually really surreal to have caught up to the 'present day' of the comic production, and I probably won't comment again, but yeah. I just wanted you to know that your work is appreciated, and not just for the (admittedly very good) fanservice.

TLDR: Good job *neutral pronoun*, Lovin' the facial expressions.

So, I'm trying to work out why Miwa's mother is much more obviously her mother in this last page. I feel the resemblance between the two (esp. eyes, ears, jaw) is much more readily apparent in the previous pages, the most obvious being 295 [As a side note, good job on that, view. It can be hard drawing similar-looking relatives in cartoon without making them look like photoshop permutations of each other]. On top of that, she calls Miwa "honey" a couple of times. Does it really just come down to less obvious context clues? Did we (the readers) gloss over the big cues in search of little ones? In this last page, she's obviously filling the mom role, but I have no real explanation other than "it's obvious". In the earlier pages, her role wasn't exactly laid out for us, and her outfit seemed quite doctoral, or at least professional. Maybe I just really didn't expect her parent to be the first thing she saw when she woke up (maybe others agree with me on this, maybe not). Just a thought. What made it so less obvious before?

On a mostly unrelated note, I like panel 5 a lot. There's a lot going on for such a simple image. I really feel all those emotions leading up to squeaking out that question. On top of that the anatomy is fantastic too. Hands and knees are hard...

I don't feel that every little thing needs to be explained in the comic: I think a lot of things can be left a little out of reach. I think it adds to the feel of the universe.

As for Miwa waking up, they knew exactly when she would wake up. That sort of thing is pretty basic in The Future I Have Wrought.

Thanks, and I'm glad it makes you think.

TFIHW? When I punch that on my phone, it thinks I'm saying TROJAN, as in the brand I'm guessing. Your first sponsor maybe? Time to go back and make slight edits to certain panels of Cheer.

I agree. Every little thing doesn't need to be explained. I was thinking more about the reactions to the pages rather than the story itself. The story is plenty defined.

Yeah. I forget about the whole "future" thing occasionally. Even with the robots. In that case I guess her mom would be really cold if she wasn't there. Good thing she was.
