Tank's time is just about done.

Shit, she just went super saiyan! She reminds me even more of Tali now for some reason lol. And now the next question is, who is the other saiyan on the ground?
cattservant 3rd Jun 2012, 7:09 PM edit delete reply
That answers the question about the existence of a Plan.

Did Spider Tank just fire off a round in panel 6?

Who pulled the trigger?
ravenor78 3rd Jun 2012, 8:07 PM edit delete reply
She looks extremely similar to the seth from crysis 2, amiright? And also yes that's most likely a round cattservant, probably the tank who fired, maybe by malfunction. There's someone else shooting the misty stuff in panel 3 on the left... any guesses to what it is? Gauss canon?

Technically, it's a "ripper beam", not that that matters.
pancake 3rd Jun 2012, 8:37 PM edit delete reply
what's going on suddenly nothing makes sense.

The good guys shot the tank. What's complicated?
Meh.Aloe 4th Jun 2012, 12:12 AM edit delete reply
Nooo poor tank. D:
cattservant 3rd Jun 2012, 11:13 PM edit delete reply
@ravenor78: That would be Jack firing from the left. His robot arm must have the same kind of weapon built into it as Gretel's Mom's does.

I hace to ask? Is weaponry like ripper beam, normal and legal in robots, or they have to obtain a permission for it?
cattservant 3rd Jun 2012, 11:50 PM edit delete reply
They roll their own permission out there in Nowheresville, Texas!
view 3rd Jun 2012, 11:57 PM edit delete reply
More or less. In this case, Jack has a license, at least.
Meh.Aloe 4th Jun 2012, 12:15 AM edit delete reply
"Hooray! We've defeated the bio-weapon by releasing poisonous XVT all over our town!"
"But... How do we get rid of the XVT?"
"Hmm... Maybe... Maybe some sort of bio-weapon?"

I am more confident than ever before about my speculation about this story having a bitter-sweet ending where everyone has to evacuate the town, and end up going their separate ways! :D

Though then again, perhaps it's not so bad? Maybe a single old spider-tank won't have enough XVT to do more than end beach season a bit early this year... >_>
JasperWB 4th Jun 2012, 12:24 AM edit delete reply
Somehow the story should end with a nuclear blast. A key turn to launch a missile then bright and pure annihilation.

No one should die though. Just a nuke in a total reset way. BIG BOOM N EPIC MUSIC sorta thing.
cattservant 4th Jun 2012, 12:43 AM edit delete reply
There was some talk of meteors in the comments on (Page 238).
cattservant 4th Jun 2012, 12:32 AM edit delete reply
@Meh.Aloe: Let us hope so! Hopefully someone is standing by at a safe distance with spray tanks full of XVT neutralizer and cleanup bacteria.
Greeb 4th Jun 2012, 1:22 AM edit delete reply
I wonder if XVT would carry on a projectile like that...
view 4th Jun 2012, 1:28 AM edit delete reply
Yes, yes it would.
cattservant 4th Jun 2012, 1:47 AM edit delete reply
Uh oh, Plot alert! Plot Alert!

Landwalker interposition.

Think about it.
cattservant 4th Jun 2012, 6:29 AM edit delete reply
Yes, one gets the impression that Landwalker is duck-and-covering down in one of his legs!
The two runners must be Mary and Jim because Hans went the other direction.
They must be out of the line of fire though, because Mr. Slime Tendrils is organic too.
Meddy 4th Jun 2012, 4:56 AM edit delete reply
There's something ambiguous because of the halo: Are the two running people standing well out of the way of the ripper beam, or are they unaffected because they're organic?

It's hard to see with the distance and how thick the beam seems to be.
G-Rock 4th Jun 2012, 7:08 AM edit delete reply
Damn it, various organisms and constructs! Why must I be so concerned for your well-being?!
AlfaFoxtail 4th Jun 2012, 11:21 AM edit delete reply
AlfaFoxtail the name of the sun she will punish you?

Full Moon Tonight!
ravenor78 4th Jun 2012, 8:23 PM edit delete reply
Ever seen a red moon? ABSOLUTELY EPIC, even more so when full (also seen).
cattservant 4th Jun 2012, 9:05 PM edit delete reply
That sort of thing must have stirred the cave guys up in the long long ago!

This would stir up the short hairs on your back.
cattservant 4th Jun 2012, 9:16 PM edit delete reply
Didn't want to mention it yesterday, but it looks as if Gretel's Mom is going to need some chassis refurbishment.

And where is that round going impact?
