Poor view. I don't know what you do for a living, but I hope that's not what the sketches are for. I know what its like to have your favorite hobby ruined by being forced to do it. If it makes you feel better, today's page is good one! Love the content.

No, I've got two sketches to do for the comic. I don't feel forced, but I'm just very busy.

Really, Jasper? What do you do? Just curious - my hobby has always been electronics and computers, and I graduated to full-blown developer geek; it's been years and years since I got up in the morning thinking "Man my work sucks..."

Not saying it's not possible, just don't know the feel...

Writing. I hate the process of writing anymore. All the papers I wrote in school and proof reading I've done coupled with my natural anxieties about trying to be perfect and clear in whatever message I'm trying to convey just made me give up the fun creative writing I did in my free time. I kinda just started over analyzing every sentence and just quit enjoying it. I guess the big thing is its not relaxing like it used to be for me.

Without trying to sound crude, that sucks, man. I'm sorry. I've written a few stories/poems myself and I can't imagine doing that for a living.

The thing for Miwaaaa:

Gretel is young, but Miwa also claimed she'd be a hypocrite if she cared. Still, it'd be weird if they got together. Maybe a still closer friendship, though? She fell for Jim because he was there helping her through the hardest part of her life; in some ways, this is similar; perhaps eventually Gretel will get her wish after all.

I started reading today and am following up to this point. I wanted to let you know that I really love your art style and storytelling! In the places that you state there might be difficulty understanding, perhaps this is true, but it seems to all come together as a few panels pass and I'm more than happy to keep reading! Please take your time and don't let this die, because I'm loving it. Thank you! n_n

It's close to the end, so it won't die before it ends.

You deserve a looooooooooong break after that! But you have to come back sometime or I'll be real sad. And you don't want me to be sad, do you? :(

(course I don't want you sad either, but self preservation has to apply to me too!)

...oh and Gretel is blushing right?

That's just such an awesome way to point the reader to her "humanity", despite the obvious one-eye.

Well, she has a very emotive face. Blushing is the most basic expression...

hey there, i suspect this isn't really the right place to do this but your work (this, cheer, les, one house one night) has some of the best art i've ever seen in a comic--not because it's super intricate and fancy, but because the characters look and act sincere. you're a fantastic artist and a fantastic storywriter.

i see that you've posted elsewhere that nmg is coming to a close soon. i sincerely hope to see more from you, to see you develop some new exciting characters and bring them to life like you've done here.

keep on it!
