It's Miwa Appleseed! And yes, the page has a basic kind of order to it. A productive simplicity if you will...

(Nice webcomic BTW)

I once did a job similar to this. I found the simple repetition soothing.

Muscular creativity in a worthy cause.

Normally trees are planted in a hexagonal pattern to maximize the number per unit area... because their canopies are round not square!

Considering the XVT "ate" all the humus that makes soil fertile, I have a feeling Miwa is sampling to determine what kind of grasses, bamboo, etc. are best to plant to rebuild the soil before it dries up and blows away... (Miwa is all about data and model building!)

-->I actually like Miwa better as a person and Mary better as a lover... They are, if it were possible to meld them, the perfect woman.

That, of course, is why it's never possible. A perfect woman would undo the seams of reality!

I bet Miwa could calculate a finite greater than zero probability and Mary could feel that somewhere it was possible... :P

Indeed, but too vast to contain. Maybe this could explain the big bang...

Heh. I came to the same conclusion that she may not be planting anything...because she doesn't seem to be /planting/ anything. I can't decide whether I used the efficient option or the dumb option to get to that same conclusion!

Is she setting out to reclaim her park?

So, about this face you spoke of earlier. I assume you're referring to the faces the other people commenting have beside their comments?

Yeah, do you want one?

You can have a robot face if you like. I haven't yet got the Spaaaace Puuuulp faces worked out, but if you want to wait a week or so you can have an alien face instead of a robot one.

I only do robots!

Paul: what kind of face do you want?

Could i have a male assassin robot please?
Wolf 26th Jun 2012, 6:02 PM edit delete reply
Then a robot please. Any kind is fine, although I would prefer a male.

cattservant
Or maybe, termordial sludge...
ravenor78 26th Jun 2012, 3:35 PM edit delete reply
ravenor78
Please define termordial.
cattservant 26th Jun 2012, 5:35 PM edit delete reply
cattservant
Not a real word. But; if 'prim-' in primordial = first, then 'term-' in termordial (might)= terminal (or last).*

*(Just one of those things where you probably had to be there!)
