If you were wondering why Mary's clothes seemed a bit plasticky, now you know. She knows damn well she's gonna get wet doing her maintenance.

Don't worry, this is not a whole chapter of her doing maintenance, but I did want to show that she's not some unemployed student or something: she actually has a reasonable job.

Man. Cute girls with short hair in sweet hats. Rowr.

I'm kind of enjoying learning what her day to day duties include. Helps me get more of a sense of her world, which I haven't grasped as quickly as some.

"How did this...I don't even..." Ha. Nicely done.

The world is meant to unfold slowly... some commenters are more experienced with this kind of science fiction setting, but I don't think anyone really "feels" the setting yet. That's why I'm spending a few pages on it.

Did her hair get shorter? or is it still partly wet from before?

Also, I've been reading this comic since this morning and saw in the comments that you had other projects and a DeviantART page. Mind sharing those with us CF-folk that aren't familiar with you? I really love your style and would love to see more.

If it gets longer and shorter, it's because I have really bad consistency!

Actually, it's not really very straight, so it can look shorter or longer depending on how flat it lays and whether it's sticking straight up or just curling a bit.

As to my other stuff, it's mostly porn, so linking to it is no good.

Can you give us some background on this world? Not a lot; just enough so the robots make sense.

In later chapters of the comic, sure. For now, it's a scifi setting with robots, what more do you need?

Mary... and Filters... and Flotsam... Oh my!

Yah... time for my daily dose of NMG!

@ view: Sorry about the epiphany... I actually had more but I reframed... I'm kind of proud that my speculation got zapped...

I have just one question... Just how old is Jim? I have the feeling he has aged quite well... ;P

He's not really that much older than Mary.

Aaaah! Then I can't wait to meet Dr. Kirk... I hear he's creepy!

That's this chapter... he's much more middle-aged than Jim!

So in this love story, does Jim have a koi no rival? (love rival) it would be an interesting twist to see how Jim and mary's relationship develops.

Also it is good to see that Mary does have q bit of intelligence to her... not just the ditzy blonde...

More and more this reminds me of Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou. Sort of. I like it.

Now THAT is actually something I draw inspiration from. A lot of other people have suggested a lot of other movies and series, but I hadn't ever even seen the ones they suggested.
