Okay, now that I'm living someplace with power AND water, I'm hopeful that I won't miss any more pages.

Gretel is built for speed. While foot speed in particular isn't her focus, she's still much faster than any of the other people around in this scene. Her real purpose is extremely fast reaction speed - she likes to claim she could catch a bullet. She hasn't actually TRIED, but she can catch a mosquito like you would pluck a daisy.

... Hansel is built so they he never ever breaks down. Not quite as sexy a purpose.

2 things I want to say/type. For Hansel's purpose, it depends on what he's being used for. 2. In panel 3, I like how he's looking at the other kids like "What's wrong with you 2?"

Pretty much!

First: I love Gretel's foot detail!
Second: I've seen Jim's expression before...

"Cap'n duLapel, we just unearthed a Mk-54!"
* with brightly shining eyes and overly toothy grin, the officer responds*
"Really now!"

Aside to the artist:
1. I love the kissing play of the last two pages... It was very insightful to Jim's inexperience in such games... as well as Mary's level of attraction.

2. The shading on this page seemed a little heavy handed even for emphasis... but then, what do I know!

Maybe, but they're supposed to be a bit dirty from all the running around in the mud. Obviously that wasn't clear.

And here I was thinking it would ba a "oh shit, need to yank it's fuel cell so it won't explode" moment not "I got a new toy"

That would be Jack's moment. Jim thinks anything broken is a toy.

I LOVE Jim's face in the last panel. xD

Originally, I had him saying something, but then I decided "naw, the face speaks better."
