Helpful hint: If you're not using 3D modeling software, don't draw fuckin' mecha!

Considering I can't draw stick people properly, I don't think I'll be worried about mechs anytime soon.

Hmmm... A four brain unit! ...Wait, if the indicator lights are on at all then the unit still has power!

It looks like the "cube" artificial brain is a product of DARPA!

Ha ha, he uses a forky thing to open the mech, and you're wondering about indicator lights?

Indicator lights can run pretty much forever on a watch-battery sized cell. That battery is incapable of even lifting a leg: it is only used to feed technicians information about the damage dealt to the unit.

Actually the forky thing looks to be a practical mechanical unlocking and pulling design... I could see it actually being used. Why you would have the indicator lights on a completely separate circuit beats me, but I won't argue with the likely dead cybernetic designers in NMTG world...

I do have one question though... Who is Jim speaking to in the last frames?

There are some crazy strict rules about power backups and analysis tools when implementing quantum computing systems.

Theoretically, Jim is talking to Gretel, since she asked the question. But he's really just calling out the answer...

Basically it's to anyone listening.

10 beers at a party $20, 2 keg stands and 3 shots $5, commenting on how awesome Mary’s face is in panel 4 while drunk at 2 A.M. Priceless.

Hmm, that's a pretty cool comment. Maybe I should drink my piss
jst56strong 5th Sep 2011, 4:58 PM edit delete reply
